Help for the Evergreen plant care app for iPhone

Need a hand? Email ofair19@gmail.com and we'll get back to you, usually within a day or two. Tell us which iPhone and iOS version you're on and what you were doing when things went sideways.

Common questions

Identify says it can't tell what my plant is

Get closer and fill the frame with one plant. Good daylight helps, and a leaf in focus beats the whole shelf. If a candidate list appears, tap the one that looks right, or pick your plant from the catalog instead.

The camera won't open

Evergreen needs camera access for Identify and health checks. Open the iPhone Settings app, scroll to Evergreen, and turn on Camera. You can also choose an existing photo instead of taking a new one.

I'm not getting watering reminders

Reminders arrive at 9 in the morning on the day a plant is due. Check that Notifications are allowed for Evergreen in the iPhone Settings app, and that Focus modes aren't silencing them. Opening the app once a day keeps the schedule fresh.

My streak broke

Streaks count days you tended a plant. Freezes cover the occasional missed day, and the Streaks screen in Settings shows how many you have left. We've missed days too. Start again and the plants won't hold it against you.

How do I cancel or manage my subscription?

Subscriptions are handled by Apple. Open the iPhone Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose Evergreen. You can also tap Evergreen Premium inside the app's Settings to jump there. Cancelling keeps Premium active until the end of the current period.

I subscribed on another phone

Make sure both phones are signed in to the same Apple ID, then open Settings in Evergreen and tap Restore Purchases.

How do I delete my data?

Open Settings in Evergreen and tap Delete Account. Everything stored on your phone is erased and the app returns to the welcome screen. Evergreen keeps no account on a server, so there's nothing else to delete. See the privacy policy for the details.
